The Affiliate Russian Dating Scam.
Several weeks ago I was searching for an affiliate dating program to join as a marketer/promoter. I came across a site that promotes of all things, Russian dating. In a way, it really kind of made me laugh. These type of websites cater to men that have had little or no success attracting an American woman. It's as if the laws of attraction are skewed in favor of men that join these services and are enticed to pay for all of the extras.
From an affiliate standpoint, the site did seem to be a moneymaker. Convince men that their "soul mate" is waiting for them across the ocean. Entice them with photos of 20 something Russian girls just waiting to hear from them. And of course, let them sign up for tours where they can meet their potential soul mate in person at a lavish hotel setting social just made for romance.
What it all boils down to is that this whole international dating business is a big moneymaker for the promoters of these sites. If you design your own website, set up affiliate links to a main dating site page, you will lose out on money. Why? Because the site owners do not want to pay you. Plain and simple. It's their scam…so it's all their money.
Let's get back to the initial pint I made about the laws of dating be so called "skewed" by these sites. From what I have seen in the town where I live, it doesn't take a great looking guy to snag an average looking Russian girl.
I guess it has to do with the fact that 1. An average looking girl is not in high demand. 2. The cultural barrier makes it all the more difficult to meet a suitable partner. 3. The average looking guy has an advantage in that he will suddenly be desirable to a foreign member of the opposite sex.
Of course, if the woman is a knockout, she can name her own relationship demands. It's all a simple matter of supply and demand.
